Explain a new lead score change to SDRs in 5 plain lines
- For Revenue operations
- You practice Saying who it's for
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Write an announcement for SDRs about a lead-scoring change, in plain text, as exactly 5 lines starting with "What changed:", "Why:", "What to do:", "What stays the same:" and "Questions:". Each line is one sentence under 25 words. Use the new threshold of 70, not the old one. Do not use the words "MQL", "algorithm" or "model".
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Using the old threshold. The AI mixes the 50 and 70 points. Try: Add: "The new threshold is 70."
- Using forbidden words. The AI writes MQL or algorithm out of habit. Try: Add: "Don't use the words MQL, algorithm or model."
- A long email. The AI writes a long announcement with headings. Try: Add: "Exactly 5 labeled lines, one sentence each."
- Markdown. The AI bolds the labels. Try: Add: "Plain text."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting and runs long when you only give a total. Try: Cap each part, like "each line under 15 words," so the total lands well under the limit.
What a strong prompt includes
