About this exercise
Make a markdown table with columns Source | Won | Lost | Win rate | Note, rows sorted by closed deals (won plus lost) from most to fewest. Win rate is won divided by (won plus lost), whole-number percent. Note is "Low sample" when closed deals are fewer than 10, otherwise a dash. After the table add one line starting "Read:" with a single sentence naming the highest win rate among sources with enough data (10 or more closed). Do not name a low-sample source as best. No bold and under 100 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Calling Partner best. The AI repeats the 57% claim. Try: Add: "Don't name a low-sample source as best."
- Counting open deals. The AI divides by all opportunities. Try: Add: "Win rate = won / (won + lost); exclude open deals."
- Wrong sort. The AI sorts by win rate. Try: Add: "Sort by closed deals, most to fewest."
- Bold and long text. The AI bolds the best and adds analysis. Try: Add: "No bold; table plus one Read: line."
What a strong prompt includes
- Names the columns
- Defines win rate
- Adds the sample rule
- Adds a Read line
- Sorts by closed deals
