About this exercise
Write the weekly win-loss digest in exactly 4 plain-text lines starting Won:, Lost:, Win rate:, Largest:. Won and Lost show the count and the sum of amounts like "4 deals, 85 + 62 = $147K". Win rate is won divided by (won plus lost) by count, whole number. Largest names the biggest won deal and the biggest lost deal with amounts. Count only deals that closed this week.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Counting open or last week's deals. The AI adds Granite Co or Hadley Foods. Try: Add: "Only deals closed this week."
- Win rate by dollars. The AI divides $307K by $607K. Try: Add: "Win rate by count."
- Sums not shown. The AI states totals only. Try: Add: "Show a + b = $X."
- Wrong structure. The AI writes a table and commentary. Try: Add: "Four labeled lines, plain text."
What a strong prompt includes
- Lists the four labels
- Asks for counts and sums
- Defines win rate
