Write a three-bullet recap your champion can forward as-is
- For Sales and customer success
- You practice Saying who it's for
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Write a recap your champion can forward to her boss. Line 1 must be exactly "Subject: Recap: what we covered". Start with "Hi Rhea,". Plain text under 80 words. Give exactly 3 dash bullets (what we heard, what we showed, next step with a date), written so they make sense to someone who wasn't on the call. No internal notes, no price and no discount. Sign off "Jordan".
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Leaking internal notes. The AI mentions price or discount room. Try: Add: "No internal notes, price or discount."
- Bullets that need context. The AI uses 'as discussed'. Try: Add: "Bullets must make sense to someone who wasn't on the call."
- Missing the next-step date. The AI says 'soon'. Try: Add: "Next step with a date."
- Wrong subject or length. The AI writes a long recap. Try: Add: "Exact subject; exactly three bullets; under 80 words."
What a strong prompt includes
- Sets subject and opener
- Fixes three bullets
- Covers heard, shown, next step
- Makes bullets self-contained
- Bans internal notes
