About this exercise
Two reps sent Lakeview Orthodontics different quotes. Write a checklist of the differences, at most 7 lines, each exactly like "- [ ] Item: Q-2210 says X; Q-2231 says Y". Include the annual subscription totals as plain numbers. Then one last line starting "Same:" naming what matches. Do not say which quote is right or recommend one.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Listing matching items as differences. The AI lists payment terms as a difference or restates everything. Try: Add: "Differences only; matching items go on the Same: line."
- Picking a winner. The AI says the newer quote supersedes the older one. Try: Add: "Do not say which quote is right or recommend one."
- Skipping the totals. The AI leaves out the annual subscription math. Try: Add: "Include annual totals as plain numbers: seats x price x 12."
- Wrong line format. The AI writes a table or paragraphs. Try: Add: "Each line exactly: - [ ] Item: Q-2210 says X; Q-2231 says Y."
