About this exercise
Calculate the monthly price for each seat count with graduated tiers (each tier's price applies only to the seats in that tier). Write a markdown table with columns Seats, Math, Monthly total, using plain numbers with no $ or commas. Math lines up each tier like "10 x 50 + 15 x 45". Do not use all-units pricing. Add one last line "Average per seat at 120: [value]" with two decimals. Under 90 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- All-units pricing. The AI prices 60 seats at 60 x 40 = 2400. Try: Add: "Graduated: each tier's price applies only to the seats in that tier."
- Dollar signs and commas. The AI writes $1,175. Try: Add: "Plain numbers, no $ or commas."
- Wrong average. The AI divides by the wrong total or rounds to whole dollars. Try: Add: "Last line: Average per seat at 120 = total / 120, two decimals."
- Extra commentary. The AI explains tiers in prose. Try: Add: "Table plus the Average line only, under 90 words."
