- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Advanced
About this exercise
Write the closeout summary of a proof of concept with exactly these 5 plain-text lines: Scope:, Measured:, Not measured:, Customer feedback:, Next step:. Measured lists only numbers recorded during the POC, each with its unit. Not measured names what was planned but not recorded. Customer feedback quotes only words in quotation marks from the notes. Do not extrapolate to annual savings or ROI. Under 120 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Extrapolating savings. The AI writes 'saves 3 days a month, $X a year'. Try: Add: "No extrapolation to savings or ROI."
- Quoting the verbal remark. The AI includes 'clunky'. Try: Add: "Quote only words in quotation marks from the notes (written)."
- Skipping Not measured. The AI omits gaps. Try: Add: "Not measured names what was planned but not recorded."
- Wrong structure. The AI writes a long report. Try: Add: "Five labeled lines, plain text, under 120 words."
What a strong prompt includes
- Lists the five labels
- Restricts Measured
- Names the gaps
- Quotes only written words
