About this exercise
Rewrite four vague CRM next steps into specific ones in a markdown table with columns Before | After. Each After has the form "Owner - action - date" using only facts in the call notes. If the notes don't give the owner or the date, write "Needs info: owner" or "Needs info: date" in that spot instead of inventing it. Under 120 words, nothing outside the table.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Inventing owners or dates. The AI writes 'Sam - send PDF - Nov 9'. Try: Add: "If the notes don't give the owner or date, write Needs info: owner/date."
- Firming up soft dates. The AI turns early next week into Nov 9. Try: Add: "Soft dates are not firm; write Needs info: date."
- Wrong form. The AI writes paragraphs. Try: Add: "A 4-row table: Before | After."
What a strong prompt includes
- Names the columns
- Gives the After form
- Uses Needs info
- Bans invention
- Table only
