Practice sorting government powers under federalism
Practice: Showing an example of what you want. About 5 minutes.
About this exercise
Your AP Government quiz asks you to classify powers under federalism. Get exactly 5 numbered powers, then an 'Answers' line labeling each exactly Expressed, Reserved or Concurrent, under 80 words total, plain text. Use each label at least once, use only powers from your notes, and follow Mr. Abiola's correction about taxes.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Not saying how many powers. The AI picks its own number, and it usually picks more powers than you need. Try: Be exact: "Exactly 5 numbered powers."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total and it often lands 20% over. Try: Fix the shape: "just the powers, then just the labels."
- Not giving exact labels. The AI explains federalism instead of using the three labels. Try: Say: "Label each exactly Expressed, Reserved or Concurrent."
- Missing the correction. Your wrong note about taxes is still in the material. Try: Add: "Taxes are concurrent, per Mr. Abiola."
- Answers under each power. Seeing the answer right away means you never test yourself. Try: Add: "Put all answers at the end under 'Answers'."
What a strong prompt includes
