About this exercise

Turn the filled example into a blank template for the whole team. Output exactly 7 lines, one per label in the same order as the example, each formatted "Label: [what to enter]". Each bracket has 6 words or fewer. Include no names, numbers, dates or product names from the example. No title line. Plain text, nothing else.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Leaving example details in. The AI keeps numbers or names because they look like helpful examples. Try: Say: "No names, numbers, dates or product names from the example."
  • Adding a title or notes. The AI wraps the template in headings and tips. Try: Say: "Exactly 7 lines, no title line, nothing else."
  • Vague placeholders. The AI writes [details] in every bracket. Try: Say: "Each bracket says what to enter, in 6 words or fewer."
  • Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
  • Trusting the AI to count words. The AI runs long and cannot count its own words. Try: Cap each part ("each line under 12 words") and add "under N words in total".

What a strong prompt includes

  • Fixes the line format
  • Excludes example specifics
  • Keeps the labels in order
  • Limits bracket length
  • Asks for plain text
  • Sets a word cap
