Script a 60-second screen-recording voice-over

  • For Customer success managers
  • You practice Asking for a format you can use
  • Time about 5 minutes
  • Level Beginner

About this exercise

Write the voice-over for a screen recording that shows a new admin how to add a user. Output exactly 5 numbered lines, "1." through "5.", each under 15 words. Use the exact menu names from the guide. Do not mention SSO. Plain text, no intro or outro.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Wrong shape. The AI writes a paragraph or adds an intro and outro. Try: Say: "Exactly 5 numbered lines, nothing before or after."
  • Using the old menu name. The AI uses Settings > Users from the old videos. Try: Say: "Use the exact current menu names from the guide."
  • Mentioning SSO. The AI adds a tip about SSO provisioning. Try: Say: "Do not mention SSO."
  • Long spoken lines. The AI writes long sentences that are hard to say on camera. Try: Say: "Each step under 15 words."
  • Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
  • Leaving the item count open. The AI adds or drops items to feel complete. Try: Say "exactly N numbered lines, nothing else".

What a strong prompt includes

  • Fixes the line count
  • Caps step length
  • Uses guide names
  • Excludes SSO
  • Asks for plain text
  • Sets the exact item count
