Text an executive assistant to book a CEO-to-CEO call
- For Executives
- You practice Setting limits and rules
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Write a text message to Priya, the assistant to the customer's CEO. Start with "Hi Priya,". Offer exactly the two time slots (with time zone), state the purpose in a few words, and ask her to confirm one. Do not mention any incident, credit or escalation. Sign off "Hana, for Nadia Okoro". Plain text, under 60 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Mentioning the outage. The AI explains why the call is happening. Try: Say: "Do not mention any incident, credit or escalation."
- Offering open-ended times. The AI asks "when works for you?". Try: Say: "Offer exactly the two slots and ask her to confirm one."
- Too long for a text. The AI writes an email. Try: Say: "Under 45 words."
- Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
- Trusting the AI to count words. The AI runs long and cannot count its own words. Try: Cap each part ("each line under 12 words") and add "under N words in total".
