  • Time about 5 minutes
  • Level Beginner

About this exercise

Write the invite from Hana. Subject line first (under 8 words), then "Hi there,". Then exactly 3 bullets starting "-" labeled "When:", "Who it's for:" and "What you'll learn:". Give the time in both Pacific and Eastern, and the length. Finish with a line "Register: [link]" and the recording note, then "Hana". No hype words. Plain text, under 90 words.

Common mistakes when you ask AI for this

  • Giving one time zone. The AI writes 10:00am PT only. Try: Say: "Give both Pacific and Eastern; Eastern is 3 hours ahead."
  • Hype. The AI copies the marketing line. Try: Say: "No hype words."
  • Wrong bullets. The AI writes a paragraph or adds extra bullets. Try: Say: "Exactly 3 bullets labeled When:, Who it's for:, What you'll learn:."
  • Getting markdown back. AI adds bold and headings by default, which show up as stray symbols where this is pasted. Try: Say "plain text, no bold, no headings, no asterisks".
  • Leaving the bullet count open. The AI keeps adding bullets until every detail is covered. Try: Name the cap: "at most N bullets, nothing else".
  • Trusting the AI to count words. The AI runs long and cannot count its own words. Try: Cap each part ("each line under 12 words") and add "under N words in total".
