Write a one-minute talk track for the audit committee
- For Compliance and risk
- You practice Saying who it's for
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Intermediate
About this exercise
Write a talk track the CCO can say aloud to the audit committee. Plain text, exactly these labeled parts in order: Open:, Numbers:, Watch:, Ask:. Open: is one sentence under 15 words. Numbers: has exactly three dash lines, each "metric: this quarter versus last quarter". Watch: is one sentence. Ask: is one sentence. Use only the notes. Never say misconduct is rising or falling. Under 130 words.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Reading the rise as bad news. The AI says misconduct is up. Try: Say: "Watch: note the Aug 18 campaign; never say misconduct is rising or falling."
- Missing comparisons. The AI gives only this quarter's numbers. Try: Say: "Each number line: this quarter versus last quarter."
- Loose structure. The AI writes a speech with its own sections. Try: Say: "Parts labeled Open:, Numbers:, Watch:, Ask:."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI is bad at counting. Ask for a total word limit and it often lands over it. Try: Cap each part instead, for example: "each line under 15 words."
- Markdown. The AI bolds words or adds headings. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold, no headings."
