Brief the CFO on a contract renewal in three lines
- For Legal teams
- You practice Saying who it's for
- Time about 5 minutes
- Level Beginner
About this exercise
Write a brief for CFO Maya Hines in plain text, three lines starting exactly: Decision needed:, Money:, Open with legal:. Under 60 words. Money shows the math, like $X + 7% = $Y. Decision needed names the deadline date. Open with legal lists the two points legal has not settled. Do not recommend signing or not signing.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Repeating Jordan. The AI says everything is basically fine. Try: Say: "Open with legal lists only legal's two open points."
- No math. The AI writes 'about $102,000' or only the percentage. Try: Say: "Show the math, like $X + 7% = $Y."
- Confusing dates. The AI uses Jan 5 as the Finance deadline. Try: Say: "Name the date Finance must answer by and the notice date."
- Missing structure. The AI writes a paragraph. Try: Say: "Three lines starting exactly with these labels."
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI runs long. Try: Say: "Each line under 18 words."
- Markdown. The AI bolds labels. Try: Say: "Plain text, no bold."
