About this exercise
Compare version 1 and version 2 of the five clauses in a markdown table. Columns exactly: Clause, v1, v2, Substantive change?. The last column is Yes or No; a clause that is only renumbered or reworded without a change in obligation is No. Keep v1 and v2 cells under 8 words. After the table add one line: Flag for counsel: followed by the clause names marked Yes. Under 170 words, nothing else.
Common mistakes when you ask AI for this
- Flagging every difference. The AI marks reworded confidentiality or the renumbered notices as changes. Try: Say: "Reworded or renumbered with no change in obligation is No."
- Missing small word changes. The AI skips reasonable to best efforts. Try: Say: "Check each word that changes an obligation."
- Wrong table shape. The AI adds commentary columns or paragraphs. Try: Say: "Columns exactly: Clause, v1, v2, Substantive change?"
- Trusting the AI to count words. AI runs long. Try: Say: "Quote each cell in under 8 words."
- Opining on risk. The AI says which version is better or what is enforceable. Try: Say: "End with Flag for counsel: only; no opinions."
